A word known by millions of people solely due to its prominent role in a MASH episode. Dude111 09-07-2025, 12:40 PM THINGS I LEARNED: Nothing on this so called 'tv' should be trusted!! Bonniegirl 09-07-2025, 06:13 PM I learned from The Lucy show if you get the hiccups hold your nose and take 10 sips of water. It really works. ;) And from Hot in Cleveland , that the city was originally spelled Cleaveland .:) opus 09-07-2025, 08:01 PM The Dick Van Dyke Show taught me there was a famous civil war photographer named Matthew Brady. opus 09-07-2025, 08:02 PM And from Hot in Cleveland , that the city was originally spelled Cleaveland .:) That was from Melanie I think. franciis 09-07-2025, 09:59 PM many people r nice in the world.there r many, many rich people in usa and world.there r many, many poor people,too...people pay high prices for concerts and prices go up...people watch tv and .programs stay on and actors get rich......reality shows r cheap and dumb...old days one game show was dishonest......sports (games) tickets r too high.sports people and singers make too much $.whats inside a persons mind..personality means more..whats in their pocketbook doesnt matter...they can be rich and be bad , have no personality and not care about others..they can think they r better......people can be poor and be good person and be first rate......classy.they can be non college and still be smart and win game shows..and be smart..if u disagree with some1..they like to correct u in some way... make fun of your talk or spelling or ...and thats not classy..but people get upset at tiny things, but most people r good......seeing glass 1/2 full. instead of 1/2 empty...maybe polly anna is best ! franciis 09-07-2025, 10:15 PM tv sells and moves products..some think they r just gorgeous.there is bad acting on some shows and bad ,bad ,dull scripts..taht poor and sick need food, shelter and clothes.usa is rich country and not afforable housing because many dont want affordable homes beside theri huge houses.news shows can sometimes tell news from reporters opinion ? talk shows r dull and talk hosts get paid very well.that all religions r VERY different.that OLD people can tell and give wise advice.that the world is mostly a great place !! opus 09-07-2025, 11:41 PM I first learned that “I can not operate on him, he is my son” riddle on All In The Family. I honestly don’t remember if I knew the answer or not. Also, why can’t you operate on your own kid to save his life? opus 09-08-2025, 01:25 AM The Brady Bunch might have been the first place I heard the term caveat emptor. But I’m not under oath for that. Bonniegirl 09-08-2025, 01:32 AM That was from Melanie I think. Yep. Melanie.
