Do you ever, RIGHT when youre about to fall asleep you wake up freaking out grabbing the covers because you feel as if your falling. LOl. I hate the feeling because I think Im falling off the side of the bed, then when its over, Im clearly on the bed! LOl.

that happens to me alot. i hate the feeling also.

Yea I do!!! I get this dream that i am falling and right before i hit the ground i jump...and it wakes me up...the worst is when you fall asleep in class and you have that dream...you gotta make sure your teacher dont see you then you worry about the kids in the class..i heard (prob not true) that if you really do hit the ground in that dream it means that you're dead...but how would anyone know?? They'd be dead! I can't believe someone said that :lol:

I heard that too! Yea, I heard if you die in your dream you die too. I mean..its freaky, but doesnt make any sense!


Well, when I get that feeling I dont dream Im falling..its just..happens. I read in a book though that explained why it happens. It said that as youre about to fall asleep, something happens in the nerves in your legs that causes them to kinda do a shock thing.

i used to alot....like everynight i would wake up several times feeling like i was falling....but it hasnt happened lately..

No...but sometimes I'll be half asleep dreaming I'm walking on the sidewalk...and u kno how if somebody kicked u in the leg from behind and u aren't expectin it? And then ur knee like...gives in? Well...NEwayz...I was "walking on the sidewalk" and in my dream my knee gave in and I woke up real fast and my leg popped like that had just happened

I get those dreams too sometimes. They're pretty creepy.

I also get those dreams sometimes when I'm being chased by something or someone. I'm trying to get away, but they keep getting closer and closer. I always wake up just as they grab me. Freaky!:eek:

Its weird how we wake up RIGHT before somethings supposed to happen. Ive always wondered what would happen if it continued and what makes us wake up..

my dreams always feel as if I am falling and then drop like onto my bed...

Mines a lil different. It feels like Im falling OFF of my bed- it feels as if someone pushes me and Im trying to stay on.

That kinda happened to me, only not in a dream... I was dancing around my kitchen and my ankle gave out so I collapsed :lol:

OMG I do that almost asleep jump thing. Scares the living ***** outta me.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!:lol: :lol: People who fall or get hurt (but not BADLY) make me laugh LOl. Like, last year when I went to NYC we were on the subway (me, mom, and Amanda) sitting down..when all of a sudden it jerked forward and everyone standing up went flying. LOl. Someone hit their nose on the pole and it started bleeding. I feel really bad about it (it had to hurt!!!), but thats just how I am. LOl me & Amanda were the ONLY ones laughing. Its like a relief for me. Like how people laugh @ funerals..I laugh when I see people fall and stuff like that- but then again I laugh @ myself when I do that.

Yes! I hate it when that happens. It's like all of a sudden I feel like my bed just gives away and I'm falling down a hole and then I jump and I'm in the middle of the bed. Then it's hard to get back to sleep...grr

I often have dreams where I'm flying and I feel great, like you're getting away from something and being free...

Yes I do that, & I also twitch before I go to sleep! Sometimes my mind will just be wondering & I'll be thinking about something & think it actually happens. It's weird!

I have lotsa dreams about myself falling off cliffs/buildings ect.

ah thanks... couldn't have done it with out you. It confused the hell outta me.

omg yeah. when i wake up (even if i have no IDEA what i was dreaming) my body reacts like im in the last second of falling and I hit the groups. like i feel like im falling then my entire body spasms or whatever and everything focuses and i get scared.

Ha. I had a dream just recently where my mom was totally being mean and yelling at me and stuff so when she woke me up in the morning (as always) i was so pissed at her because of the dream that i threw my pillow at her. after i got out of bed and reliazed that i had only dreamed about her yelling at me i felt kinda bad.

Has anyone ever been in bed about to fall asleep when all of a sudden, they hear theyre mom or dad SCREAMING their name and it makes you jump? BUT, theyre not really screaming..its just your imagination? I hate it when that happens..I jump up and freak! LOl. The scream sounds so...mean.:lol:

I HAVE THAT ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: I used to FREAK when my mother did that before.... Or when you THINK you hear someone call you or something wake you, and it was just a dream...
