I seen this episode about 3 times and still find it to be confusing-Here is why i'm confused.

Jefferson was supposed to be playing a April's Fool Joke on Al by pretending he was a spy in the past. So he sent Walter Truggot to Al's store to scare him a little bit and while they were in the store-Walter Truggot showed AL a picture of Jefferson to make it appear he was looking for him. Here is my question.

If Jeferson was trying to fool AL, why was he acting like Walter Truggot was really looking for him when he was in the bedoom with Marcy????Marcy wanted to fool around but if Jefferson was playing a April's Fool's joke on Al, how come he wasn't in the mood to play around with Marcy? Did anyone else catch this when they saw this episode?

If you watched the last scene, right after Jefferson tells Al that the whole thing was an April Fools prank, something happens. Jefferson's almost out the door when someone on TV remarks in shock after seeing Walter Truggot shot in his sky box. Just moments before, Jefferson said if he was really a spy he could have taken Truggot out with one phone call.

Truggot really was looking for Jefferson.

That's why it was confusing-that episode was poorly written

No, I dont think it was poorly written at all. It made alot of sense to me and was a wonderful episode that meant alot to the series. :)
