I noticed that beginning in 1987 Linda Ronstadt released her first ever Spanish language album and I wonder if Linda was trying to become big in the Spanish language market? I never knew Linda Ronstadt could sing in Spanish until my mom started collecting her Spanish language albums and Linda sounds real lovely in Spanish

Through her father, Linda was of Mexican and German descent. That would explain part of her reasoning for wanting to venture into a Spanish language market.
