Robert Stack in cancer treatment

Actor Robert Stack is undergoing radiation treatment for prostate cancer. The 83-year-old, who gained fame as crimebuster Eliot Ness on the '60s TV series The Untouchables and as host of the reality show Unsolved Mysteries, is receiving outpatient treatment, said his publicist, Jerry Pam. ''He's fine,'' Pam said Monday, adding that Stack is part of ''a club'' of men who've been diagnosed with the disease, including Pam himself and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

I wish Robert Stack the best of luck for a full recovery.

Generally speaking, the chances of a recovery from cancer usually depends on the current stage that the cancer is in. For example, Roger Moore underwent treatment for prostate cancer years ago (maybe in the early 1990s) and has since recovered. I think it's because he detected it in the early stages. So let's hope that is the case with Robert Stack.

Here's a little more that was in an AP article:

Stack learned he had prostate cancer about a month ago. Recently, he was briefly hospitalized for an unrelated condition, which Pam said might have been pneumonia.

Get well soon, Robert Stack! TV is a much better media with him. He is definitely one of the last of the old Hollywood stars left and it should remain that way!
:) :p
