Dating as far back as the Good Morning, Miss Bliss (https://unobtainium13.com/2025/08/30/late-night-retro-television-review-good-morning-miss-bliss-1-7-save-the-last-dance-for-me/) days? I don't know if this was symptomatic of all of Peter Engel's sitcoms (Saved by the Bell (https://www.reddit.com/r/SavedByTheBell/) and its spin-offs, California Dreams (https://web.archive.org/web/20190507045806/http://www.californiadreamsreviewed.com/), Hang Time, City Guys, USA High, Malibu, CA, etc.), but I recently came across this comment:
The main problem with this episode (https://web.archive.org/web/20190124161730/http://www.savedbythebellreviewed.com/2014/02/17/good-morning-miss-bliss-episode-7-save-the-last-dance-for-me/) was that it was overlit. Zack’s hair was glowing so brightly that it actually hurt my eyes. This was actually a frequent problem on Saved By The Bell (https://web.archive.org/web/20190124161730/http://www.savedbythebellreviewed.com/category/all-saved-by-the-bell-episodes/). The lighting was always way too harsh. The whole school looked like it was about to burst into flames.
