I was wondering if anyone has any info on the exact location of the house where GG was filmed. I live in Florida and would love to be able to find the house. If anyone knows a website that could help, that would be great too. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks!

The house that was used was just a facade buildt to look like a front of the house..... It is located in Disney MGM's backlot tour....I saw it twice last year when I went to Disney...I think there are some older posts on it so u might want to do a search. Make sure on the backlot tour you sit on the left, the first time I practically sat on top of an eldery lady on that side to get a good picture of the house!:lol: It was SO much fun to see it...

I saw it once when I was on the backlot tour.

It didn't look as it did in 1985, but you could tell it was the same house. I guess I had the "driveway view" in mind (where, in the opening of the show, you see the house on the left and the driveway on the right). When I saw it, I was past it, so I got to see it from a different angle. Still, you could tell what it was...

Sorry folks they don't make TV show's or movies at the orlando theme park. Well nearly none. That's a little white lie to make the tram tour more interesting. All the shots are of the same house in Pacific Palisades, CA

the original house was filmed in LA and the shots remain the same throughout the series. There are a few updates with a vehicle in the driveway or a txi, but there is an original house. I believe its in Greater LA, probably Brentwood or Pacific Palisades. A mock-up house was created on the Disney tour...but what street in CA was the original house?

I hear two stories of the exterior house shots, 1. its in pacific palisades, and 2. It is located in Altadena, CA. I do have some actual pictures I took of the outside set I will post later today.

I seen it on a MGM tour at Disneyworld in 1998. Unfortunately I didn't get any still pictures, but I did get a video. I didn't know it was there until the guide starting talking about it. The house they used on Empty Nest was near it too. (Which was neat since they had characters from that show on GG occasionally.

The real house is in Los Angeles, CA. :)

I figured the real house would be in L.A.
