Brewster Place aired Wednesdays at 9:30 after Doogie Howser, M.D. on ABC. Oprah's hit talk show was already established. But for some odd reason ABC gave Brewster Place the burnoff treatment, airing only in May and June. My primetime directory refers to it as a warmedy. If it had switched with Married People and premiered a few months later fall 1990, Brewster Place would have led into the infamous Cop Rock.

Is this the prime time directory? It came out in 1771 so I think it’d be out of date by now. I think the 2 big shows back then were the drama Law and Order:American Revolution and the sitcom Bite Me, King George III. (Amazon delivery was much slower back then as stuff came by boat up the actual Amazon)
