Love burritos and since my local TacoBell is too far away, I picked up some frozen burritos from Walmart ($4.98) to see how it taste and must say it tasted pretty good. It comes in eight 4 oz. small portion size for a quick snack, or heat up 2 or 3 burritos and throw some chili and cheese on it (and dash of hot sauce :D) for a quick filling dinner.

My mom used to enjoy El Monterey frozen burritos and she would buy them also at Walmart and the ones my mom bought were the breakfast burritos but then El Monterey put more egg than bacon in the burritos and then Mom quit buying them. Another frozen burritos that my mom and I used to like were Tina's Burritos and when we started eating them they were good but then Tina's Burritos started going downhill. And when you eat a Tina's frozen bean and cheese burrito you encounter hard beans and mostly tortilla and the cheese is scarce to find in those burritos. I actually perfer homemade bean burritos because they taste authentic and my mom makes good bean burritos

Your assessment about frozen burritos mirror what being said by Youtuber that reviews El Monterey and Tina's frozen Beef&Bean burritos and I agree. Filling is on the skimpy side and sometimes too much tortilla. That is why I like to doctor it up with some chili and cheese on top. A quick meal if you are lazy.

Nothing like homemade. I like to add a dash of enchilada sauce to my burrito filling (before wrapping) to kick it up a notch :)

These days it's hard to find a good frozen burrito or any burrito anywhere. I used to like Taco Bell bean burritos but they changed their taste now and today I'm not a fan of burritos but prefer homemade burritos. My dad loves combination burritos but can never seem to find any good frozen ones. My dad used to also like Tina's combination burritos but they too lacked flavor. But I did eat Del Taco's burritos when my town had a Del Taco nearby and their bean and cheese burritos were awesome

Ordering from TacoBell is hit or miss as it depend on who is making food in the back and/or quality of ingredients. Once in while when I order bean burrito, the beans are so dry that make them taste bad and inedible.
