This review from chester-gray showed up when I went to epguides.com into the next show info page. I don't think I saw the Soul Man sitcom, but I didn't like Dan Aykroyd's crossover episode into Home Improvement.

I don’t remember this one.Soul Man starred Dan Aykroyd and aired on ABC Tuesdays, premiered as a midseason replacement in 1997 then had one full season 1997-1998. It briefly led off Tuesdays fall 1997 until leadout Over the Top was cancelled after just 3 episodes. ABC then advertised double Home Improvement with Soul Man at 8:30 in between the repeats and new episodes of Home Improvement.

Soul Man has a board now. Can a complete series DVD box set be far behind?
