You know I never watched Without a Trace before and I thought that was a very well done episode. Nancy did a great job, I'm glad she is acting again.
I agree it was a little weird seeing her play a mom to a college kid but you know in real life Nancy could be a mother to that age of a kid. She really is only like 2 or 3 years younger then Lisa and Lisa's oldest is going to be in college next year and she had him in her late 20's. So just think if Nancy had a kid in her early 20's he or she would probably be as old as the kid in the show, which is hard to think about her having a kid that age. I mean its hard to think Lisa has a kid around that age (Actually has 3 kids around that age) I still think of them as the young girls who we grew up watching (Or just started watching a couple years ago thanks to N@N) and I don't want them to grow up.

It was so great to see Nancy again. She is so talented! I hope we don't have to wait another 2 yrs to see her again.

Where Are They Now
(April 2007) Is officially retired from acting and is living in Austin, Texas with her husband Marc Andrus and is concentrating on raising her 2 kids the traditional way and being a housewife. She's also living away from the media and public.

It says she is retired from acting but she did guest star on this ep so maybe she will come back which I hope she does cause she is just to good to quit. I mean it's her right if she wants to retire from acting but I just hope she decides to keep acting now that she has again. Oh and another thing I read on this site which alot of us have been wondering, you know she had her 2nd baby last year but it isn't writen anywhere of what she had I mean if it wasn't for Lisa saying something on her web journal about Nancy being pregnant we would of never knowen but this site does have record of what gender she had

I don't know if anyone from this board goes on the IMDB message board but there's this one guy, who for the purpose of this discussion will remain nameless, insists that Nancy McKeon has retired from acting because she decided to have a second child. He feels because she is well into her 40s, has two children, and hasn't acted in over 6 months, she is just becoming a has been. I have no doubt he added that trivia "Where Are They Now" because anyone can add biography information to that site, as I have done it myself for Nancy and other people. I did not see that before and will report it because it is completely false information. This guy is just a troll on the Nancy board so that's where that piece of information comes in. I'll bet money he wrote it. Anyone who is on the Nancy IMDB message board knows who I am talking about lol.

I never seen the episode, but since the kid is racist then that means that Nancy's character raised him to be that way right? Did she play a racist as well? What was her character like and where can i watch the episode?

She was not a racist. From what I can remember, there was some racial tension between her son and another kid in his class before he went missing and they felt his disappearance had something to do with that.
