Thank you for posting this. This is absolutely incredible that some people don't understand actors playing a part are not real people. But the kicker is that 2 actors quit being Sophia's date because of this scene. WOW even actors don't understand they are playing a part and it's not real? Alison Arngrim played mean Nellie Olson on Little House. She had people constantly throw stuff at her thinking she was really that person. Alison wrote in her book that once she and Katherine McGregor who played her mother on Little House once appeared at a school. The children and families were so hostile to them that they had to leave. It's crazy that the audience booed this actress simply for playing a character they did not like. That was the entire point of the episode. Dorothy finally sees her friend for what others were telling her.
I am still floored that 2 actors went to auditions to be Sophia's date to be on a hit TV show and both walked away because a character in the show was going to be rude to them in character. This is so crazy.
