I don't have any episodes taped, I already have a full plate taping stuff, LOL, as I've told you before! MidnightRose21498 11-04-2002, 10:48 PM Yeah, I know. Unfortunately, AT&T broadband doesn't do soapnet or the hallmark channel for that matter. I hate it! I could have all these great shows I used to watch. TVJunkie101 11-04-2002, 10:52 PM What do you like on Hallmark? The show I just started taping on Hallmark was Hogan's Heroes. I previously taped Facts of Life. I have AT&T broadband in Florida, they have SOAPnet on it's regular cable lineup, but I also have DirecTV, so I get all those good channels. But I know how you feel on not getting channels. I *really* want GoodLife TV network, but hardly anybody offers it. MidnightRose21498 11-04-2002, 10:56 PM The Facts of Life... but I heard that hallmark butchered a lot of the shows. Still it's better than not seeing it at all. And what's that channel that Highway to Heaven comes on? I'd love to have that. AT&T needs to get better channels. I'm in the process of recopying my FOL tapes (From TV Land and Hallmark) without commercials, but that will take at least another 3 months, so I could probably do a trade with you then. I'm beginning to tape everything without commercials (except original network broadcasts). It's so much damn work, LOL, but it's worth it, because in the long run, less tapes. And I'm getting so sick of the onslaught of commercials. Hallmark does an okay job of editing. But it's somewhat obvious when they do, it was especially obvious during Hogan's Heroes today. Not that I've seen uncut broadcasts, you can just tell when they go to commercial breaks, they really shouldn't be going to them... get my point? LOL. MidnightRose21498 11-04-2002, 11:16 PM Yeah, I know what you mean about the commercials. These days when I'm taping shows I edit them out right then and there. I cannot stand them. They take up too much room on tapes and I'm just not interested in them... it's like, get back to the freakin' show already! But yeah, I know we need commercials or else we would be paying to watch tv everyday. Doesn't mean I have to enjoy them. :) |
