Does anybody remember the hit series "Fame"? Well, is it true that Robin Givens starred in the series pilot before Debbie Allen starred in the entire series?

Yes, I remember Fame the TV series. It was and still is today one of my all time favorite TV shows. I was a teen in the 80's. Back then I would cry and get so upset if I could not watch Fame. My sister liked the Magnum PI which was on opposite Fame. My older Bother was so kind and always let me watch Fame on his TV when I couldn't on the Families TV. I have season 1 of Fame on DVD and can't weight for all of the season of Fame to come out on DVD, including the Fame TV specials.
