I believe it was Andy Warhol who once said that everybody at least once in their life experiences 15 minutes of Fame. Whether it's appearing on TV, radio, on stage, newspapers, magazines etc. Has anybody experienced any bit of this at least once?

I have, I've been a guest on a television show called Philly After Midnight. I was a sidekick on a New York morning radio show. I also was on radio in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Tampa, Florida. I currently work in radio now, but it's behind the scenes.

Yea, I was in drama club last year and the play lasted two hours. It was just a local theater, but hey at least the town knows who I am, lol. Nothing national though......

I guess if you count my picture being in the paper for my school's golf team. And the only reason they got the picture of me was because there was a mix-up and I went to where we practice when the whole team went to the match!

Let's see... I've been in drama for the past 3 years, however I've never gotten very good parts:

5th grade: We did this play called Princess, which was a mock on fairy tales. I was the maid.
6th grade: We did 3 small plays however mine was called Tounge Twisted and was about a tounge twister contest. I was Sally as a teenager and a student.
7th grade: We did The Jungle Book (soooooo much fun). I was a village woman (actually, this one had quite a few lines. I had the 3rd line in the play, plus I got to be THERE for 5 scenes and I got to scream and run offstage).

This year, I hope I get a good part. Tryouts are @ the end of November (wish me luck!) I was also once in a local commercial for Matt Driscoll. If it ever appears on one of the tapes you guys have taped (hey it did on mine  ), then I'm the one in the blue in the back who flings her hair when she stands up.

That's the old saying, and ends with 'as long as they spell your name right'.

i've been interviewed for a low budget television show that broadcasted on a local channell, but i never watched to see if i made it on. im pretty sure I did. only like 2 people volunteered t be interviewed. Ive been in the newspaper countless times, and stuff. it doesn;t satisfye me at all. I need recognition.

Well, I was in the newspaper when I was in 7th grade (I'm not mentioning the year). The Junior High I was at was starting the first National Honor Society and I was one of the first inductees. :)

The picture they took was of the girl in front of me, but I was in it :D

I've been in the paper a few other times, mostly for funerals though...

When I was 16 back in the summer of 1979, some guy from the paper asked me what I thought of President Carter's energy crisis speech from the night before on t.v. Having nothing better to say, I compared his speech to Winston Churchill during World War II. I even got my picture in the paper for it...

Errrrr....yeah. Carter. Churchill. :o
