I've emailed him a couple of times in the last month just to see how his trip to L.A. turned out, and if he had any more news concerning his struggles to get the ENTIRE run of the show out on DVD like he originally planned. I've gotten nothing but silence...

If anyone has heard anything definitive from him on the situation, please post it. I've visited the "Walnut Times" website and see that the OTHER DVD on DVD collection, by the spurious guy Doug has had to work with, will be coming out sometime around the first of the year.

Time Life will be putting it out, and it will consist of 10 "Best of" volumes, with 4 episodes each. If I know Time-Life (and I do), this set, of only 1/4 of the episodes made, will be highly overpriced! I for one am still in Doug's corner and support his work to get the ENTIRE SET put out at once (and in a less expensive format than Time-Life)!
