"9-1-1: Nashville" Casts Country Music Star Kane Brown for Series Premiere (EXCLUSIVE)

“9-1-1: Nashville” is bringing on some serious country talent for the premiere of the Music City-set series with an appearance from singer Kane Brown, Variety has learned exclusively.

Per ABC, Brown “proves heroic in a major storyline” in the first episode of the new “9-1-1” spinoff, debuting Thursday, Oct 9. at 9 p.m. on ABC and available to stream the next day on Hulu.

Brown will film a scene for the episode, which is set during a concert performance on Thursday in Nashville.

“This city needs us at our best, even when things are at their worst,” Chris O’Donnell’s Captain Don Hart says in the trailer for the latest 9-1-1 spinoff, premiering on ABC on Oct. 9.

LeAnn Rimes is my reason for watching this new show, but after seeing the first episode last night, I have to salute Kane Brown. I love how he rounded up all of those people at the end to join him in aiding the firemen. :) :) :)
