I still don't understand why they showed "Home Again" before "Archie Alone", but it was so weird watching Home Again and realizing that Edith really is gone. I know this sounds dorky, but I kept thinking Edith would walk into the room or something.

I, too was looking for her Jenny. At first I know some of the scenery shots were different. Then later Linda was watching Stephanie. I thought Edith was at work or something then when Archie talked about selling the house I knew Edith passed.

I dislike the killing off of Edith as much as the next guy, but I have to admit that this episode had some nice moments (I hadn't seen it since it originally aired on CBS). I particularly liked the scene where Archie confessed to Van Ranseleer that he couldn't stand being in the house anymore, because it reminded him of Edith. Mr. Van R. said something like, "Over time, the pain will lessen, and the memories will become sweeter." Very poignant.
