Even though I like Moonlighting better just in my month of watching it, I still have a soft spot for Remington Steele.

Pierce Brosnan expressed plans in a recent interview that after he finishes making Thomas Crown Affair II that he is going to reprise his role as Remington Steele in a bigscreen version of the television series. No word if Stephanie Zimbalist will return or not, which IMO, it won't even be worth having without her because Laura was the real heart of the show (as opposed to Moonlighting where David and Maddie were both the heart).

Complete with the rumored Moonlighting reunion movie, it's like the 1980's never ended :) The more successful bigscreen Steele does, I think the more likely Caron, Willis and Shepherd will put the past behind them and resurrect Blue Moon.

I really liked the first season of Remington Steele (the others not as much) and from a nostalgic point of view I have to say I like it as much as Moonlighting Seasons 1 & 2.

If there is no Stephanie Zimbalist, there should be no Remington Steele movie.
(I would actually prefer no Doris Roberts)

I want two things from a Moonlighting reunion movie:

1) To find that David and Maddie do still care about each other.

2) Some resolution to the Anselmo case!

I'll add a #3 to that... Cybill and Bruce in the roles. I don't even think I'll go see it otherwise.

Hear, hear!

I very much second these points.

Two more I'd like to throw in:

3) Dave gets to win in a fight. 'Cause he never did! :( Awww...

4) Maddie gets to disprove the old canard that with her marksmanship skills, she 'couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.' Always felt kind of sorry for her about that. ;)
