On August 25th, FETV will move on up to the East Side for a piece of the pie, as they will be airing the iconic sitcom The Jeffersons!

Groundbreaking 1970s Sitcom to Air in Original, Uncut Format

SOUTH BEND, Ind., July 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- FETV (Family Entertainment Television), home to beloved and timeless television series and movies carried across cable, satellite, and virtual platforms, announced today that The Jeffersons will join the network's programming lineup starting Monday, August 25th. The show will begin in its regular time slot at 6:50p ET every day with additional telecasts at 12:50a ET each night. As with all series on FETV, The Jeffersons will air in its original, uncut format.

Created by Norman Lear, The Jeffersons stars Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford as George and Louise Jefferson, a prosperous African-American couple who move to the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Both Hemsley and Sanford won Emmy Awards for Best Actor/Actress, while Marla Gibbs, who played the Jefferson's maid, won Best Supporting Actress four consecutive years. The Jeffersons is one of the longest-running sitcoms in TV history, airing for 253 episodes on CBS from 1975 to 1985.

We just have to wait for Antenna to release their new schedule, but that didn't stop them from airing Bewitched around the same time FETV begins to air it, so I'm gonna assume that Antenna's going to keep it, regardless of it airing approximately against FETV's uncut airings.

Same with Leave it to Beaver. FETV plays it and METV does too at 8AM weekdays.

And not sure? But I think FETV plays Hazel along with Antenna TV ?

It's kind of fun when 2 channels play the same show at the same time, you can decide which episode you like better as to what channel you will watch it on that day.

I plan to pay that $10 to get FETV on August 25th so I can see if the eps are uncut lol

Lets hope they are....... If not Soloman,we all need to complain!!

I don't get FETV, but I've heard that yes episodes of other shows are uncut, but they cut to ads right in the middle of dialog.
