yeah, I sure did notice that. I also was going to post a topic about that on this board, but you beat me to it. That is an ugly, sissy sweater. I'm glad when his girlfriend sews him the sweater in a later episode!!

I don't think its a sissy sweater. I have a sweater just like it. Of course, I'm a girl...;)

Holy cow! so much to say, so little time to type it in!!! For one, i actually liked this episode, it was one of those that coudl have (hopefully in Ward and June's case) torn their friendship apart, but in our case, we'd be Eddie Deprived! Anyways, did anybody else notice how Ward was wearing one of June's aprons when he was washing the dishes? i just could NOT stop laughing! haha!!! I thought it was hilarious! Anyways, i was quite shocked at eddie belting wally! HOLY COW!!! It looked real, yet Wally showed no marks, either he's got really tough skin (and a tough jaw) or that was really bad acting on tony's part (sorry tony, i love ya! haha) but i thought it was weird how he just turned around and was like, what the heck eddie? anyways, I also have to comment on June saying she's glad they don't have a girl, now who here thinks it'd be just DARLING if they had a girl? one younger than beaver to always stick it to him! I think i'd be cute!!! But i thought that every woman wanted a girl, i know she was only kidding cuz she said the whole bridal bouquette, but weird!

Yeah I watched that too! I didn't notice Ward waring a apron though, And Wally did even ACT like he just got socked in the face! No mark or brusies AT ALL...But still that was a GREAT
episode! One of the best!

I too noticed Ward in the apron! Lol! I absolutely love the scene with June and Ward talking at the end. I bet June really did want a girl...She would have made a good mom to a girl, being so girly herself! Sometimes she acted like she didn't quite know what to do with the boys!

Yeah, A Little Sis Would Have Added Some Pretty Cool Story Lines!

A couple of notes about this episode:

1. Why was Lumpy chauffeuring Eddie around? I thought Eddie had a car. (Excuse could be that Eddie was still being punished over the credit card incident.)

2. Why is Julie suddenly jealous over Cindy Andrews? Wally's dated a lot of other girls.

Yeah those were inconsistencies for sure. Twice we see Eddie being driven over to Cindy’s by Lumpy. I’m glad Wally was secretive about going to Cindy’s let Julie stew in her own juices. She practically flaunted Wayne right in Wally’s face at school then got perturbed because he might be visiting Cindy. You’re right Wally had a lot of girls. If he was tight with Julie why go after Marlene and later take a new girl, Kathy Gregory, to the all nighter. Maybe Kathy and Wayne were brother and sister and they kept him in the attic.

I definitely would have “taken a poke at Eddie.” How did Eddie get such a babe as Cindy Andrews??

I wondered what she saw in Eddie, too.

Re Kathy Gregory maybe they needed a new hothead father to throw fits about Wally. If it was Julie we'd already seen his father as a teacher, who probably wouldn't act that way, and already knew Wally.

BTW both Frank and Ken said in a DVD interview Cheryl Holdridge was a very sweet, wonderful person. She died in 2009, age 64.

She seemed very sweet and really pretty. Probably one of the prettiest girls I’ve seen in movies or TV. Cheryl Holdridge.

I think he looks so handsome in that sweater and I absolutely loved this episode. I'm a romantic at at heart and I wish they had shown him opening the box and seeing the sweater but I thought it was sweet of him to make Lumpy drive over to Wally's so that he could apologize. This is one of my favorite episodes.
