View Full Version : TBS January 2003 Schedule
Pavan 11-02-2002, 02:33 PM Just in...
Weekdays is the same, but 5:30AM Good Times is replaced by America's Funniest People
AFP use to air at 5:00AM, but a movie airs then until 5:30AM at times.
Saturday changes:
6:00AM and 6:30AM A Different World replaces Good Times
8:00AM and 8:30AM Family Matters replaces Roseanne
EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME.
Note, they are airing a lot of Family Matters, I'm guessing they are airing it all they can before they lose it, which could be in end of January or so, not sure, but for sure sometime in 2003, as ABC Family picks it up.
(Note: the last scheduled episode of Good Times is at 5:30am on Dec 31, "The Hustle")

This is great news I'm glad A Different World is on at an earlier time, I may be able to catch it before I have to leave for school.

School on Saturdays, lol? Different World is still 2-3 p.m. on weekdays, 6-7am Saturdays in January.
SBTB Geek 11-02-2002, 11:05 PM I'm glad they didn't dump "Saved By The Bell."

TBS should replace saved by the bell with Laverne and Shirley or Different Strokes

Yea, it seems like Saved by the Bell's been on TBS forever. They should ship it off to Nickelodeon or Disney, since it originated there as Good Morning Miss Bliss. And then add either DS or L&S since those aren't really playing on any major network.

I think TBS was showing SBTB in the early 1990's also. It has been forever.

Yea SBTB would be perfect for Disney... Disneys already got shows like Sister, Sister and Boy Meets world on there... Only thing is SBTB has a few episodes about drinking and things like that... Disney doesn't seem to show things like that....

They showed that BMW episode when Sean gets drunk and yesterday they even showed the ep when Cory and Topanga are in the hotel room after getting married and Cory takes him pants off. lol They'd prolly show all the eps, but maybe not the first couple times around, but it really should go to Disney.

I could see it on Disney. It'd be a good fit, IMO.
SBTB Geek 11-03-2002, 05:33 PM "Saved By The Bell" has a higher chance of ending up in Nick, not Disney. Since, SBTB is already part of NickUK.
I bet they give it better treatment than TBS does.
They will skip a few eps. though. :o (Jessie's Song, Drinking and Driving, and possibly "The Rave.")

SBTB will not end up on N@N because the network doesn't show comedies until night time. And SBTB is not a night time type of show- So it has a better chance of ending up on Disney

Exactly.
There's a chance it could happen, but I don't see it happening. Where would they place it? Nicktoons are all over the place. The best place (right now) would be the Teenick block on Sundays. But that's one day a week. Oh, and Nick at Nite always could air it, 5 and 5:30am....
So, Disney, IMO, would give it better treatment. Nick just doesn't have the room.
I mean, I'm talking right now, who knows what Nick and Disney will look like in a year or two from now.... Time will tell I guess.

And the one with that movie star dude Johnny Dakota or whatever his name is, the one who smoked pot... I keep thinking that was part of the Drinking and Driving episode but I don't think it is...
Plasma 11-04-2002, 08:21 PM Saved by the Bell has been on TBS for 10 years now and it has been on from 4:05 pm/ct & 4:35 pm/ct for 6 years and then moved to weekday mornings for the past 4 years. I think TBS has done a great job showing Saved by the Bell. I really don't see it going to Disney Channel but I do see it going to ABC Family or Nick. But who said anything about it going? I think TBS has enough shows going like Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Good Times, and Family Matters. ANd by the way...Family Matters goes to ABC Family in September/03 so TBS will continue to air the show.

Although, Nickelodeon their shows seem to be based upon a younger audience, which may be hard because the characters are in their teens, but I'm sure it might fit on TeenNick. If they picked it up, that would be the place to put. I remember they aired The Brady Bunch at one time, it might be an older show, but I thought it worked in the afternoon. They could do the same thing with Saved by the Bell in an afternoon spot or either in TeenNick it could work. It just might bring an older audience.
SBTB Geek 11-10-2002, 11:18 PM Oddly... I think it also has chance with Nick@Nite. If Facts Of Life and Silver Spoons* aired on N@N, why can't "Saved By The Bell"?
*for a week! :D
breakdownx 11-20-2002, 01:16 AM I don't see it moving to Nick or anywhere else. If the show only had 2 timeslots in 10 years then it's obvious that it's doing good in the ratings. During the time it airs now, most people going to school probably have it on.
