A whole heap of cast members also left after season 1. Season 2 was vastly reduced from 22 episodes to 10. I would have rather seen a season 3 of Fish, but a lot seem to hate it.

I see it was taken off the schedule after October in season 2 and not put back on schedule until June of 79. If it was gone that long why even bring it back? lol

It was rerun season, so maybe to burn off unaired episodes. This show has one of the strangest histories of any to ever air. The show struggled its first season looking for all the world like it was going to be cancelled and it gets renewed, only it really doesn't. They changed everything from the producer, to the cast, and modified the premise, what besides the title were they renewing! If that isn't crazy enough, the network doesn't even give it a chance 86ing the show after the first five episodes aired.

I see the last episode before being removed from schedule was aired on a thursday in between Mork and Minday and Barney Miller and came in 18th. Wonder why they didnt leave it there
