This complete collection presents all 68 half-hour episodes – following studio broadcast records as a guide - as originally aired during the series’ four seasons on television. Meticulously restored from 4K scans of original 35mm negatives, everyone’s favorite blue hound dog never looked better. The cool canine charmed early TV audiences with his unique personality, a slow southern drawl and fast wit that’ll win over audiences of all ages. Viewers also got familiar with Pixie and Dixie (and nemesis Mr. Jinks the cat, who hated meeses to pieces”) and future icons Yogi Bear and sidekick Boo Boo, as well as later shows which introduced the irrepressible Hokey Wolf, all of whom starred in their own segments. To faithfully present these episodes as originally aired, you’ll note each show contains original bumpers and bridges, as well as rarely seen vintage commercials featuring the characters from the series. A timeless tribute to the talents at Hanna-Barbera, including voice artists Daws Butler and Don Messick, this new collection enables you to experience the adventures of Huck, Yogi and their pals just as they first burst on the television scene decades ago, and proving that their animated hi-jinks remain as clever and entertaining as ever. Whoever did this must have access to the original black and white credits. The only error I spotted was episode 154 writing credit, which is correct in a note with the episode, and is correct on-screen. A note with episode 153 correctly states that 154 also uses the "Open Up Your Heart" closing credits. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on December 2. Don't get me wrong: There are SOME T&Js definitely out of circulation. (There are also SOME Bugs Bunnies out of circulation). But unless Boomerang has some 16mm syndicated QD still on, that's totally out of circulation. Also: how is Mammy Two Shoes acceptable for release and All This and Rabbit Stew isn't? No answers to these questions--I just wonder. Charles Knox 09-10-2025, 08:28 AM Which are less available: Tom and Jerry or Quick Draw McGraw? I mentioned it before, but it feels like Looney Tunes draws the most criticism and slapped with the heaviest of censorship, just from being the most popular animated series. It ended up retailing for 67.99, which was a difference of 9.50 from the pre-order price. One thing I noticed--in the first few episodes there is a Kellogg's ad that mentions Augie Doggie, which did not air for another year (as a segment of The Quick Draw McGraw Show). Not a complaint, just an observation. Charles Knox 09-12-2025, 11:59 PM I thought George said the DVDs would only be in stores, but I could be wrong. Come to think of it, what stores? Who sells them anymore? After looking it up, Barnes & Noble and Walmart are the last two brick and mortars that still sell physical media. stevea 09-27-2025, 12:42 PM At some point in 2024 didn't George Feltenstein say 2025 was going to be a big year? By the time the year is over it seems like we wil have had one Looney Tunes release (probably relatively easy to assemble), the Huckleberry Hound release (yes, that was a biggie and must have taken tons of time to assemble) and Tom and Jerry (a good one of would likely be very hard to assemble due to the 1965 MGM film vault fire). Based on a hint i thought George threw out (using a Bugs Bunny voice) I thought they might be assembling a Bugs Bunny full collection, but Jerry Beck says no. I wouldn't call three releases a big year. So what are they working on? Do we know of anything for sure besides The Bugs Bunny Show (unknown when it will be released)? What I wonder about is Quick Draw. They are silent. I have a friend who is convinced that is shelved. stevea 11-09-2025, 09:15 PM In an Extras update on Looney Tunes collectors Blu-Rays, Tim Millard says there will be a longer update soon on Hanna Barbera. This is the late 40s Bugs cartoon with a genie voiced by Jim Backus. Other rarities -- Mexican Boarders and Wise Quackers, two rarities not shown on TV, Mouse Menace, Art Davis' first director assignment for Warners--and that is censored when shown on TV. Ain't That Ducky, often censored and was in need of restoration. Another rarity - Hop and Go, a black and white wartime cartoon which is rarely on TV and when it is it's normally censored. Also, lots of Chuck Jones Road Runners. When the titles have gone up somewhere, I'll link them. This will be up for preorder shortly after the beginning of the new year, and they are advising to order early, as they are anticipating inadequate stock. stevea 12-26-2025, 01:51 PM https://animationscoop.com/blu-ray-announcement-looney-tunes-collectors-vault-volume-2-going-on-sale-march-24th/ Disc 1 A-LAD-IN HIS LAMP – Bugs Bunny (Robert McKimson) AIN’T THAT DUCKY-Daffy Duck (Friz Freleng) BONE SWEET BONE (Arthur Davis) BOSTON QUACKIE – Daffy Duck /Porky Pig (Robert McKimson) BOULEVARDIER FROM THE BRONX (Friz Freleng) THE BIRD CAME C.O.D. – Conrad Cat (Chuck Jones) COUNTRY BOY – (Friz Freleng) THE DAFFY DUCKAROO – Daffy Duck (Norm McCabe) DR.
