View Full Version : Has anyone ever experienced this while watching Me-TV?
TVFactFan 07-15-2025, 09:41 PM I was watching the Honeymooners and after 5 mins into the show it cuts to a commercial while Ralph was in the middle of a sentence. Then it came back on 2 mins later and went to another commercial:lol::lol:
So tonight was my last night of watching Me-TV. I never seen no dumb **** like this before
Frank Gannucci 07-15-2025, 09:54 PM I hope this was just a fluke like the time when I caught them credit crunching Laverne and Shirley last February and they haven’t done it since.

I think so too. Most local affiliates automate their breaks according to the MeTV schedule. Their programming probably went south this time.
Dude111 07-16-2025, 07:30 PM Yes its getting worse and worse......
They decide where to cut for commercials thats why that happens..........

If you don't mind certain shows/episodes being left out due to clearance issues

Give me an example of what you mean
Marcus2026 07-18-2025, 12:23 AM Give me an example of what you mean
Like Happy Days for example, as certain episodes aren't cleared for streaming, or like when a show gets replaced by something else because it isn't cleared for streaming.
Dude111 07-18-2025, 03:54 AM All stupid Political garbage reasons!!
Im sick of it

Happy Days is the worst offender when it comes to missing episodes on streaming. More than half of its episodes are not available to stream because of stupid music licensing.
Dude111 07-18-2025, 04:11 PM Ya they should just not care!!!
Why do these ppl think thier songs sound as good DIGITALLY as they do in analogue??
They dont let me tell ya. I have listenend to 60s music in a friends car digitally and to me it sounds like crap..... Its thin and shrill............
Why do they care if its played on streaming? Your not getting the full good analogue sound so why care??
I dunno........

Its a shame that show will never be on DVD complete or shown the right way in syndication

The Beverly Hillbillies also has a boatload of missing episode with streaming. Many are episodes with Scruggs and Flatts. Yet the episode with Leo Durocher is also missing from streaming.

So basically DVD is still over streaming

You can still run into the same music clearance issues on DVD. Mainly its a problem with most of the old Paramount owned shows.

But u dont have to worry about certain controversial eps not being seen like on certain streaming sites. I cant believe Amazon did not show certain scenes and eps of all in the family
Dude111 07-19-2025, 02:58 AM Its a shame that show will never be on DVD complete or shown the right way in syndicationMaybe an alternate DVD release will come out and it will all be there :)
Like cassettes Solomon..... Alot of USA releases in the 80s were digitally sourced crap and didnt sound that good..... Ya find the same release from Australia and its beautiful! (Analogue galore)
The US started foricing this digital crap on people and its sickening!!
Keep looking for an alternate release my friend, you might find one!

I don't think so in the fact that many shows including The Beverly Hillbillies don't have complete series on DVD. True, the seasons that are out are intact with all episodes. The Beverly Hillbillies only have the first 5 seasons out on DVD.
