Tiger's house is still in the backyard. Does anyone know why they left it in the yard so long after Tiger wasn't there anymore?

One of the stage lights fell and burned a black mark on the astroturf. The dog house fit over the burn mark so they kept the dog house or brought it back right after the light fell.

I remember an interview with one of the shows producers or crew members who said that the dog was mentioned in one of the later episodes and one of the characters mentioned that they still kept the dog house as a memorial. But apparently they received a lot of letters after that aired, and then they removed it from that episode permanently.

Not permanently because it comes back to hide the burn in the yard.
Another quirk is the tree in the back yard. In the first season its adjacent to the garage. Then it disappears and then reappears in later seasons in another part of the back yard and then disappears again.
