Anything to do with death, from the pilot when Ed tells Chico to drop dead, to the last episode when Ed is holding a knife and Chico says "here's a good spot" pointing to his neck. There were too many of them and they all creep me out!

I think all the quotes from the show are good. They're all over 24 years old and we still dig them....they have stood the test of time.

I like all the quotes too. The one about the good spot is creepy tho...

I gonna have to say the most creepy one was where they thought Ed died and at the end he was doing a memorial for Chico and he said "Good night sweet Prinze." Scary, huh?

I have to agree with mariposa, that scene with the knife in the last show was the worst, and the runner up was in the Lisa episode where he contemplates putting that knife in his belly, but stabs the waterbed instead. Why, O Why couldn't people see what was happening? And what were the writers thinking????

Thank you Luckymama--I know I can always count on you to back me up! And that scene in the Lisa episode...spoiled a truly sweet, sexy, and touching (when Freddie almost cried in Ed's office) show!

Which episode is the Lisa one? Was it the one where he dated the nurse & she was thinking more of the nursing than him & almost quit nursing but he talked her out of it?

What is the name of the episode where Chico moves out because he is keeping late hours, and this is very upsetting to Ed? Chico also has a girlfriend named Patty. Cute girl with short hair. He gets and apartment, but does come back to Ed, but Ed sold the van. This is when they also fixed up the storeroom to be his new living quarters. This may be my favorite episode of CATM, and Freddie Prinze also helped to write this one.

I believe that girl used to be on WELCOME BACK KOTTER. That was a great episode! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Was that girl also Freddie's good friend the one his mother wrote about in the book?

Unfortunately I don't know since I've never read the book... I can picture who she looks but her name escapes me...

Sorry I'm so long posting the answer to this question. The girl, who was the daughter of one of the writers, and who was a friend of Freddie's, talked about in his mother's book, was Cathy Cellino. She got a part on Welcome Back Kotter, but I don't recall her part. The actress who played the part of Patty on the episode "Chico Packs His Bags" was Dee Dee Sescher. I don't think she was ever on Welcome Back Kotter, but I may be wrong about this. They were definitely two different people, though. Hope this info helps. FREDDIE FOREVER

Which scene in the Lisa episode is it where Chico cries or almost cries? Does anyone know? I'd love to know so I can keep a lookout for it... Thanks!!!!

When Lisa returns to explain the day after their interrupted date, she and Chico go into Ed's office and Chico ends up sitting in Ed's chair with his back to Lisa and facing the camera. As she is telling him how much the evening before meant to her--especially when she begins to touch his hair--it looks as though Freddie will be crying at any second. He's looking down but his eyes seem to be welling up, he kinda pouts, and his lower lip is starting to tremble. At least that's how it looked to me. Oddly enough, when Lisa says her patient died, Chico seems to recover immediately in order to comfort her, which is so sweet and a great piece of acting on Freddie's part.

Bad news on my satgellite dish. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif Tha man came out to fix it & it can't be fixed. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif The problem is that: My hubby used to run a used auto parts junkyard but had to give it up when he got diagnosed with diabetes & it making him have retinopathy (bleeding retinas) & kegally blind. Ofrtunately he can see enough to get around & see some tv but he'll never be able to drive or do some stuff he used to do. So he sold the business to his brother who runs it now...

Well the auto junkyard is right behind our house & to the right of it are a big grove of these tall trees. Some of them are ours which now belong to Mikes brother & the junkyard & the others behind them are the neighbors. The satellite man said the problem is the tree have grown up way taller than they were when we first got the satellite. & The trees are blocking the signal of the satellites & G1 Satellite where TVLAND is on is located lower in the sky & the trees block it. The only way we'll get it back is in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif When we first got the satellite the trees were as high or tall. So we could be no CATM or Freddie until wintertime. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif Big sigh... & Right now we probably can't afford a little mini dish & the programming... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif Sigh... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Sorry to hear about the satelite situation, Cheryl. Our satelite system is starting to mess up 'cause of all the leaves on the trees. I've resigned to the fact that I can't catch CATM when it is showing on TV Land-- but I have a tapeful of shows that I can watch when I have time. (Someone taped them for me during the fandemonium) Someone on here mentioned how great it would be if the shows were sold on a boxed set or something, like so many other old shows are. That would be so neat!! I would buy 'em!!

Sorry to hear about our satellite dish! We need to start a support group LOL! Yep those leaves on the treea are according to the satelllite man are blocking the signals from the G1 satellite & all the lwoer ones like that. Apparantly that problem isn't with the little dishes just the big C-Band ones. We couldn't get any of the paid channels cuz we can't find a descrambeler for the dish so we only got the free ones like religious channels, feeds of tv shows & abll games etc & TVLAND. I am but hooked on TVLAND sicne not much is on regular tv anymore. I was watch all sorts of old shows on there like CATM, ANDY GRIFFITH, GOMER PLAY, DICK VAN DYKE & on & on... I will have to go into TVLAND re-hab LOL! Fortunately someone from here put some CATM shows on tape for me & I guess I'll have to watch those daily & treat it like the TVLADN brocast watching one day whatevers on TVLAND. One thing about my broadcast via video is no ads & I can programm it at a reasonable hr! I'll still get up at 5 am pray over the dish for a miracle LOL! I've just gotten to really know Freddie Prinze now & he's making me do some very strange things LOL!

Thanks for the support folks! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
