Come to find out tonight Amazon didnt include the season 8 eps Archie and the KKK:lol: What the *** is the point of having a series available to watch if u not going to have all the eps? Just remove the show altogether.

So not only does Amazon edit eps they also select which ones they will add

That's crazy but its probably not Amazon but the owner of the series. Several years ago there was such an over reaction to blackface that some did in the past. Do they include the episode where Archie does blackface when Joey is born?
Now that I think about it the episode is not shown in syndication at all? I have not seen that episode forever and it could have been yanked many years ago.
BTW when I say overreaction I am talking about when TV channels were yanking the episode of the Golden Girls where Rose has mud on her face and a black woman without her glasses mistook Rose for a black woman. It was not blackface yet some networks yanked the episode.

When an episode of a show gets yanked or banned usually there are articles about it. I could not find anything online about it being removed. However I totally forgot about the episode because its not shown in syndication either. I did find a good segment of it online. This is when the show was grasping at straws and running on fumes. They had run out of ideas for Archie vs Meathead so someone came up with this idea. Will Archie go along and burn a cross in his daughter's front yard? That was the second part cliffhanger. IMHO the episode trivializes the KKK and makes them a bunch of idiots. But that is no reason to ban it. It just reminds me why I dont care for the last 3 seasons. Archie became a character of his former self. The writers took Archie to extreme hatred and bigotry that many times was not funny. Cousin Liz was another episode like that. Archie was just cruel. In the KKK episode its done for laughs. I don't see Archie joining the KKK in the first 4 seasons. When Archie turned into a hate machine is not as funny. But it should not be banned but I guess they feel its making the KKK look like a fun group or something. In part 2 Archie tries to prevent the cross burning in his daughter's front yard. Does that make him the hero?
