I know MTM was HUGE emmy's wise, but how was it in the ratings. does any one here know where they fell each season.

Sorry the ratings and lines don't really line up under the shows, but you can figure it out I'm sure. ;)

I didn't realize that MTM fell so far in the ratings in its last season. I guess they knew best when to pack it in. Quality of show, though, was as good as ever. Though I must say the networks would kill for that kind of rating today!! but of course back in '76-77 there was no competition from cable.

The quality of the show during the last season was not quite the same and it ended just in time.

I'm not sure, I bet there is but I sure can't find one. They just happened to mention the ratings for those other shows at a MTM site and that's how I got them. But be sure to let me know if you ever find a site like that! Good luck. :)

The show was beginning to show its age during the last season and ended just right before it did the Norman Lear dance by dragging it into the ground.
