This is sad to read. I am such a fan of Night Gallery and think the first 2 seasons are better than the Twilight Zone. I just got my DVDs and some of the episodes I have not seen before. Rod was a genius and he wrote most of the first season or two. By season 3 they chopped the series to 30 minutes and moved less about horror. I could be wrong but I believe the entire syndicated series was chopped up to be 30 minutes. But the full first 2 seasons were an hour. The pilot which aired a few months before the show started was 90s minutes. Such a talent Rod was.
