Free content will move to Prime Video, where it will be accessible to those with or without a Prime membership

The Freevee app will officially close in August, at which point streamers will be directed to the Prime Video app for free and premium content from Amazon.

The Prime Video app for phones, tablets and smart TVs have offered content from Freevee for over a year, though access to Prime Video has historically been restricted to those with a Prime membership. Amazon says Freevee content within Prime Video will be accessible to members and non-members alike.

In addition to thousands of TV episodes and movies, Freevee also includes hundreds of free, ad-supported streaming TV channels, which will also move to Prime Video on a permanent basis.

Maybe Freevee will disappear completely after my birthday next month

They have said September when I have been watching The Middle! It had better not be before August 31 they shut down then (not that they ever should have :mad:).

When I have been watching blocks of The Middle, there is something to press saying Freevee is going away in September. But Freevee is no longer an option as of today so they couldn't even give us all of August! Last night I could still watch through Freevee. If all of August had been an option I would have at least gotten through most of the series. :mad:
