Well, there is some good news for DS' future on Sci Fi, and some bad news. I'll start off with the good news first (Shadowgram, the offical DS newsletter, is reporting this)
- Dark Shadows will remain on Sci Fi through 2003
- Starting January 6th, Dark Shadows will move from it's 10am-11am slot, which it has held for over two years, to the 8:00AM-9:00 AM slot. This is in Eastern Standard Time.
And now time for the bad news:
Dark Shadows is pre-empted every week in December except for the week of December 16th-December 20th. AND the last week of November. This is the worst DS has EVER been pre-empted. The second longest period on Sci Fi of no DS (excluding the two year hiatus it had) was last year, and it lasted 2 weeks then. *le sigh* At least they're keeping it.

What time would that be for Pacific Time? Is it the same? Also since this show is old and it's coming to DVD will Sci Fi still air it?

Well it depends. It should be the same as Eastern time, however some cable stations use the Eastern feed which would set the time back a few hours. What time does it currently air in your area? I can tell you what time it airs from that.
It should continue airing on Sci Fi for a while, at least I hope so. As long as the ratings are good, there is no reason for them to take it off. 2003 will be the 11th year of Sci Fi having exclusive cable repeat rights.

10 o clock AM like always. I love todays episodes! I can't believe Angelique is back. This makes it more entertaining.

Well then it will be on at 8:00am-9:00am for you in January. I'm happy Angelique is back. She adds a lot to every storyline she's in.

I was wondering do you know what the ratings are for Dark Shadows on Sci Fi?

I don't know them for sure. DS probably gets a steady amount of viewership, or else they would've dropped it. The morning hours (7am-10am) seem to always get changed a lot, maybe they're moving it there in an attempt to raise the ratings in the 8am-9am time slot?
