"Scrambled Up" Set for Fall Syndication Launch; Michael Yo Hosts
by Erik Pedersen
July 1, 2025

There’s a new game show in play this fall. "Scrambled Up" will premiere September 8 in national syndication, hosted by comic and actor Michael Yo (The Insider, Chelsea Lately).

Four contestants solve jumbled-up words and phrases that unscramble before their eyes. As the tiles unscramble, the clues get easier. The first player to buzz in with the right answer has a shot at walking away with the $10,000 grand prize.

"Scrambled Up" has been cleared in 80% of the country including the top markets of New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Production on the 160-episode order is set to start this month in Atlanta.

I saw Scrambled Up for the first and last time today. Scrambled Up was so unimpressive it makes The Perfect Line look like a good show. Goon too soon Person, Place, or Thing is better than both of them combined. :mumble: And the noon hour on My Network TV Fort Wayne (where Scrambled Up is at 12:30) was a lot better when it had back-to-back episodes of People Puzzler instead of just one. :(

Not a popular show here at SO either. This is the only thread about it.

The nationally syndicated word game show "Scrambled Up", hosted by Michael Yo, has been renewed for a second season. Shooting is underway in Atlanta on 160 new half-hour episodes, bringing the sophomore series’ total episode count to 320. It’s set to premiere on September 14.

Michael Eisner‘s The Tornante Company co-produces with Keller/Noll, Playing Field Entertainment and Crazy Legs Productions.

The game show will launch its second season in more than 20 new cities, including Orlando, Cincinnati, Minneapolis and Honolulu, putting it in more than 85% of the U.S.

It has also received time slot upgrades in 40-plus markets, according to producers. It continues to be available on Samsung TV Plus, which recently launched a dedicated 24/7 Scrambled Up channel

“Scrambled Up is exactly the kind of smart, joyful, highly playable show that belongs in the daily game-show conversation,” said Eisner, founder of The Tornante Company.

“The entire team has built a format that is instantly accessible and genuinely fun, and Michael Yo is an outstanding host whose warmth, timing and energy make viewers want to play along every day.”
