As we all know, Nancy Mckeon wont ever again play as Jo on any future FOL reunions or FOL projects even if they bring back Jo.
So folks, Which actress do you think should play as Jo if they bring her back in a second FOL reunion?

I dont think that there should be another reunion and even if there was, NO ONE could replace Jo.

I don't care much if there is another reunion or not. I love those girls and would like to see another one..but I don't think it should be to soon...Also...I don't think they should replace Jo...s0o what, nancy mckeon doesn't wanna return, than Jo's busy....No new Jo...

Rick Bonnor was not a main character, that's why they can easily replace him. We didn't see that much of him or really know anything about him. However, Jo was the main core of the show, she and the other three girls, and it's hard to replace such a strong cast member with a total stranger. It'd be totally unbelievable in my opinion.
Either way, I don't think another reunion movie will be dreamt up anywhere in the near future...

OKay, you get with the times...Like KS said Rick wasnt a main character. Nancy Mckeon played Jo from the second she started on the show. And for us true Facts of Life fans it just wouldn't be the same. Nancy Mckeon IS Jo and no one can replace her...That's like having a Cosby Show reunion and replacing Clair (Phylicia Rashadwho played the mother) with someone else. As much as I don't apreciate Nancy's attitude toward FOL...No replacement...have you ever seen the Brady bunch reunions?? They replaced some cast members, although, m ost of the time it was because the original actors/actresses had passed away, but, occasionally it wasn't...annnnnnd, it's REALLY different...it's just not..THE BRADY BUNCH...well, that's kinda like what it would do to FOL..besides, if any actress in their right mind was offered the job, they wouldn't dare take it, because they would know good and well that they'd be ridiculed and gossiped about, and just, generally...killed by all the Jo fans...just like, if they ever get anyone to replace Mrs. Garrett I'll be going up/over/down, wherever they are...and kick their @$$e$!!! ALL OF THEM!!

No one could ever replace Jo Polniaczek, except for Nancy McKeon. She was a main character, and so many people Idolize her for just playing her character on The Facts of Life. If people see Jo has been replaced it wouldn't get any attention. Playing another reunion would be another bad idea, because many of the actors and actresses wouldn't participate, and they would decline, only to move on with there lives, and forget about their past. Changing a major part of the show can wreck the shows apearence, and we want to keep Jo Polniaczek just the way she always was.

You know what I think they should do if they ever do another reunion and want Jo on there they should find someone who looks almost identical to Nancy and use her kind of like they did with Lily and Rose on As the world turns (if you don't watch that I'll tell you about that) Lily and Rose are twins (Rose's charactor just started) and someone other then the main person that plays Lily plays Rose and you don't notice that it's a different person because they make them two look so alike and really they almost look identical so you don't know that there played by 2 different people (I know this because they talked about it on Soapnet) and I think that is what they should do with Jo and then nobody would know it wasn't Nancy. Even though Nancy would probably not like that because that wouldn't help her shake her porblem with getting type cast.

You're right, she probably wouldn't like it. Also, Lily and Rose are characters on a soap opera. Soap opera characters are replaced ALLLLLL the time. But w/e I think they just shouldn't have a reunion....

NO ONE! Nancy McKeon is not replaceable. The last reunion movie was awful anways.

By the way, they replaced the actor who played as Tom Chelsey on All In The Family, I think on the 3rd season of that show. And yes, Tom Chelsey was a main character on that show.

Sorry but i don't think any of these people look like Nancy, maybe Winona does a little but no. and i really don't think they'd be able to do justice to Jo either. No one can replace Nancy, why are we even trying to replace her anyways!?!

Maybe when nancy was a kid, her eyes were dark colored.
That happens to teens of blue or green colored eyes, they look dark. Plus it wouldn't look right for a polish-italian girl to have green eyes, now would it?

Point 1- It's either Nancy McKeon or no Jo at all.

Point 2- I doubt any of the people that has been listed would come and do small television. Most of the ones you listed are these big time actresses do the big movies. We're talking Hollywood. I doubt any of them would consider doing something out of the big picture. jmo

Nobody can replace Jo. You can list actress after actress of people that could replace Jo, but the truth is that the fans just wouldn't buy it. It's got to be Lisa, Kim, Mindy, and NANCY. Our minds have gotten used to that image. Some of the people wouldn't even bother watching it if it was Lisa, Kim, Mindy, and Sandra Bullock.

Or take the Anne of Green Gables movies for instance. They did a 3rd movie a couple of years ago. How would it have been if most of the actors signed on again, but Megan Follows decided not to do it. How would that look? Oh sure, they might think they can replace Megan- but the diehard Anne fans just wouldn't buy it. Megan really brought Anne to life and it just wouldn't be the same. It's the same with Nancy McKeon, she brought Jo to life and no other actress could do that.

NC is really gonna be the next Superman, or is that just someone you'd like to see as Superman? If it is correct, I wonder how that will be. Although Sandra Bullock is a wonderful actress for the part, I think it's best to leave her alone. It's hard to replace an actress/actor if they are loved by many fans and have a rising popularity and even if they are at the height of their career. It wouldn't be a good idea, because so many people know her for her portrayal as Jo, and if you replace her you're taking away from the character.

Well, if you read it, one of the things the article said was that now in days, SHE'S HARDLY EVER RECOGNISED AT ALL.

so there you get it, people remember Jo from FOL, they just don't remember who played her, so in another reunion they won't care who playes her. All people remember is Jo, not Nancy Mckeon as Jo, just Jo, and you all can thank this to the fact that most people just skipped the theme song cause the theme song as you all know was just god aweful while the show itself was good.

and by the way, not many today knew Lisa Whelchel played Blair, Kim Fields played Tooty, Or Mindy Cohn played Natalie.

Diehard fans will notice. Take the Star Trek reunion movies for instance. What if they had the original cast but they couldn't get Leonard Nimoy to participate? A recast would be out of the question because so many people like Leonard as Spock. It would be a flop if they tried to replace him.

And yes, I've been watching the Facts of Life since it first aired I think in 1979 or 1980, and I've watched Jo cause she's my favorite, but I've never even knew that Nancy Mckeon played as her until 2001 when the Division first showed and I checked the imdb listings for each actress, and it just so happened that I checked the imdb for Nancy Mckeon and by surprise it showed that on her listings for her acting carreer it showed she was on the Facts of Life as Jo. I swear I just found out last year.
Blame it on the fact that I hate the FOL theme song in which I just skip by the way, but the FOL show itself i just like.

Exactly. Besides the money comes from these big movies, the true Hollywood movies. I doubt you even make that much for a TV movie.

i doubt sandra would do an entire movie but she did guest star on the george lopez show not too long ago. sandra bullock is cool, you never know what she is apt to do

I seen on a couple of other boards about theories of Jo getting a sex change operation......I like those odds better.......
