I think this was just a script or preface that never came to fruition. Certainly this was never filmed. Its almost like this idea morphed into what was called
Blansky's Beauties (1977), in which the character was on the shows pilot, catapulted 20 years in ther future. one of the woodby stars for this show was Baio.
The interesting part of Blansky's Beauties is that most of the cast was Laverne and Shirley / Happy Days moshpit. It is a direct spin off of Happy Days.
How clever it would have been if along with pinky one of the Chucks from Happy Days would have popped up 20 years in the future as well.

I’m reading the 50th anniversary Happy Days book and it was definitely shot, hence my link above to the UCLA library having a copy of it.
So if it sold, and even if it only lasted 13 weeks, does it change history and no Richard Kline as Larry Dallas?

Based on the further info I have read on Roz Kelly, she wasnt an easy person to work with. Hence her character was dropped from Happy Days. Furthermore if her character was that important she would not have made just a "cameo" appearence in Blansky's Beauties. I feel very strong that Richard Kline would have still found himself on Three's Company as the life expectancy of Pinky's show wouldn't been long anyway.
