I hated the character.

As I recall recently burned by Barbara Meek, Yvonne Wilder was offered a contract role and big storyline bump. But she only wanted to continue being Katherine Logan on a recurring basis. So instead of risking getting burned again, she was dropped.

That was another of the many inconsistencies of the Stephanie character. Why did she get so jealous over Katherine when the prior season she was intrigued and almost giddy when Uncle Arch went out with her music teacher Miss Springer.
