Everybody Loves Raymond is a classic sitcom that still holds up over two decades later, but there are some harsh realities even fans have to confront.

I thought it was an awful, mean-spirited show even during its original run.

Reminded me of the terrible family I was stuck with IRL.

It was said during this write up that Debra almost didn't have any friends. She had Amy, Linda, Mrs. Parker, and Robert's Italy girlfriend if you want to include her too and maybe even Peggy the girl scout cookie lady since Debra is the one who gets that lady with Amy's brother. Also, anyone that she worked with at the school when becoming Mr. Parker's PTA sidekick, they too could be her friends. :) :) :)

Debra had all kinds of friends come to that Tupperware (or whatever it was) party.

I didn't even read the clickbait article, since I like the show. They're a dysfunctional family--that's what the show is about. Nobody gets along with anyone, except Marie's doting love for Raymond.
