Jonny Quest history, mistakes, trivia facts, and info on the awesome crossover team-ups between the cast of characters from Jonny Quest and other great Hanna Barbera classic characters such as Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, and Dynomutt.

Jonny Quest aired just one season from Sept 18, 1964 to Mar 11, 1965 on ABC’s Friday prime time slot. It was created by Doug Wildey and produced by Hanna Barbera. Before his work on television, Wildey had gotten his start in comics working in Atlas comics which would later be known as marvel comics.

Jonny’s voice, Tim Matheson has had a very long successful career he’s been on movies like the brady bunch sequel, the apple dumpling gang rides again, and Stephen spielberg’s 1941. He was approximately around 16 or 17 when Jonny Quest first aired.

Jonny’s brilliant father is Dr. Benton Quest. He is considered to be one of the top three scientists in the world.

Dr. Quest was voiced by two different actors. John Stephenson and Don Messick. Stephenson only did a few episodes before Messick took over.

Mike Road did the voice of Race Bannon voice also did voices of other famous characters such as Reed Richards on the 1978 Fantastic Four cartoon and another white haired hero named John Butler on the Valley of the dinosaurs.

Hadji, is the Indian kid who saved Dr. Quest in Calcutta and became a regular adventurer. He is Jonny’s adopted brother. He seems to have strange mystical powers such as snake charming and levitation and is also taught judo. Danny Bravo who voiced hadji retired from acting many years ago. His last listing was around 1969.

Jonny Quest and Dynomutt were revealed to be connected in regards to the super dog's origin in an episode of Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. Jonny Quest has had two other series since the original a couple of TV movies and a team-up movie with Tom and Jerry.
