Brian Damage 10-30-2002, 08:31 PM It was a real house.
richheart 10-30-2002, 11:05 PM Yes, it was a real house.
It was featured in an early episode of Happy Days. It was the setting of a party. The kids were outside and the Cunningham parents were inside playing cards with some other parents.
It was featured in the last season of X-Files. I didn't see the whole episode, but I think it was about a psychic guy who created a strange paranormal version of the Brady house using the powers of his mind.
Fan of old shows 11-04-2002, 12:23 AM i wonder who lives in it.
Warm & Fuzzy 11-06-2002, 11:17 PM I've also heard that the Brady House was used as the auditorium stage...
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 11-07-2002, 12:41 AM Ya, it was real, but the big window was fake. It was put there by the studio to make it look like it was 2 floors, because in reality it was only one floor. Today, theres now a fence there to block off people, bc evidently a lot of people check it out and stuff. I forget the address of the house though...its in one of my Brady Bunch books.

Yeah, I was going to check it out when I went to L.A. but I'll be going again so I'll make sure to check it out in December. I don't understand, they buy a house from such a popular classic sitcom and they expect people not to stand in front of their house and take pictures and stuff??
Cactus Jack 11-09-2002, 01:28 PM Oooh I know tahts silly isnt it

White_Daisy 11-16-2002, 01:17 PM The house used for an outside view of the Brady Bunch house apparently has enough room for about parents and one kid. Not 9 people!

The episode of Happy Days you're refering to is "Fonzie Joins the Band" from the 1974-75 season. You have the plot of the episode wrong, though. In the show, the set of the Brady's backyard is used for a Leopard Lodge dance where Richie's band performs.
The episode where the kids are throwing a party (and the parents are playing cards upstairs) is an earlier show called "Because She's There," and does not take place on the Brady set.

I don't know the street, but the number is 11222. (I think it's somewhere off of US 101 in/near Los Angeles, California.)
On the show the address was 4222 Clinton Way. Just change the "11" to a "4".
richheart 12-01-2002, 04:46 PM The outside shots of the house are of a different house. From some angles it looks like a split level.
Split level meaning, residing on a sloping hill. From the entryway you can go to the right, which is the same level, or to the left either upstairs or downstairs.
It also looks like a garage is on the left side with a side entrance. And you know they don't have a garage, just a carport separate from the house.
