Oh, if they call it a ‘fair’, or some other word like that, that’s fine too.

The first Growing Pains up there is a school carnival.

The Brady Bunch make a dunk tank for a school carnival, although I don't think we ever see it leave the backyard.

Not a sitcom , but on the Waltons there was an episode called " The prize " . The family getting ready for and attending a county fair .

It looked like so much fun. So old fashioned and wholesome !

Another carnival episode on the Waltons . Elizabeth has recurring nightmares of being stuck on. A ferris wheel going round and round and not getting off. Turns out it really happened a year before when the carnival was in town. A thieving Carnie worker took off when he saw the sheriff and left the ferris wheel unattended with Elizabeth still on it.

A cool, spooky kind of episode .

This is a movie: ROLLERCOASTER - 1977

An unnamed young extortionist (Timothy Bottoms) sets off a bomb on an amusement park roller coaster, causing multiple fatalities, then says that he will do the same to five other rides around the country simultaneously unless he's paid one million...
He gets his though!

There was a later Leave it to Beaver episode where Beaver won a gold locket at a carnival and he gave it to Donna Yeager. But her parents wouldn't let her have the locket and forced her to return it to Beaver, so he gave the locket to June.

A couple of Leave it to Beaver besides one mentioned --

--Larry treats Beaver to carnival booths using money he took from his mother's sewing basket, and "found" on the grass below.

--Beaver wins a locket at the carnival and gives it to his girlfriend, which is fine until her father finds out. [Ha! Same-time post...]

In a Father Knows Best episode, Bud falls for a crooked carnival game.
