OMG you TOTALLY will think I'm making this up....... but , there was a xylophone in the movie. I started laughing and the scene wasn't funny

. A scene where it scanned Bruce's instruments at his home , and among them was a xylophone!!! :D Tgan another scene his girlfriend was overland she started playing the xylophone firva few minutes, again I was laughing!! :lol: That would be Dues favorite part of the movie.

So, it was good, could have been better. Very sad. It was basically the period when he was recording tge " Nebraska" album in the early 80's. He was having a breakdown. Suppressed childhood trauma from his mentally ill, alcoholic , abusive father. Was going back and forth, his childhood till present ( early 80's). I was crying in my popcorn napkins.

But all in all it was good, liked the romantic part with his girlfriend but there could have been more music.

My friend and I were talking to a couple of guys outside the theater who just saw it, and they said it sucked, they wanted a more rockin' movie " like Dylan or Zeppelin, not a movie on male depression" one of them said. . Def.more a movie for woman.

Yeah. So sad . I guess he really suffered from severe depression. And being he was a young, healthy , good looking NFL player, he probably wasn't taken seriously with his mental issues. Like " What do you have to be depressed about"? attitude. Very tragic. And his Mom passed away not that long ago, I'm sure that factored into his sadness and depression. :(

Just so very sad! And them both being Jewish. That just makes it more sad. Right after the Australia attack on the beach the first day of Hanukkah . And Billy Crystal, another Jewish friend was in the news, he came to the Reiner's home after and was really fighting back tears, it was on the news. :(

So sorry Opus that this is happening on what is supposed to be a joyous holiday! This Catholic girl is saying prayers and keeping the Jewish people in my heart ! :)

Yeah, the Brown shooting. Also another man was killed by his son lately. He was a musuc composer or something. I didn't really know who he was? Guess what Love Boat episode was on today? The Lem / Disco instructor one. But it already was part 2, part 1 was on yesterday and I missed it. I switched over to Catchy Comedy , but it was already about 45 minutes into it already. Caught the very end.
