I have noticed that in streaming services that Netflix is becoming the king and is becoming more popular than Paramount+ Youtube TV Disney+ and Peacock. Is it because Netflix is trying to appeal to a wider audience or is it because Netflix wants to become as big as the other streaming services by having better programming? Because I think when Netflix was starting out as a DVD mail-order movie rental service I think they had a dream and a vision of expanding beyond DVD movie rentals and started expanding to have a streaming service. And as you can see that dream became a reality and Netflix started developing their own original shows and content that helped them become what it is at the moment. What I think is Netflix's strongest links is their kids content because it seems that their kids programming is a way for them to market merchandise to kids. Take for instance when Netflix launched Spirit Riding Free that was based on the movie Spirit Stallion Of The Cimarron and since then that animated cartoon has sold toys clothing and anything you imagine and the same thing with the movie Over The Moon which should've also had a DVD release but became popular with dolls and books. But when you have hit shows like Wednesday and Stranger Things when you're Netflix they make you a success. But I think what the next thing that Netflix is focusing on is sports with boxing WWE wrestling and all other sports. Because of the success of last year's Mike Tyson/Jake Paul boxing match Netflix knew how successful boxing can be and based on that they want to copy Showtime and once they saw how WWE wrestling fit like a glove that was another success for Netflix. I think as time goes by Netflix will continue to grow bigger as a streaming service and the more interesting content they develop the more subscribers they will gain as time goes by
