I was listening to music when in the box of music I was listening to I found my copy of Deana Carter's debut album Did I Shave My Legs For This? And I remember when that album came out Deana was destined to become popular in country music and every country station played her debut single Strawberry Wine. But my actual first exposure to Deana Carter was the Anastasia soundtrack where she performed a wonderful version of Once Upon A December which led me to find out more about Deana Carter. And to my surprise she is impressive with her voice sounding almost like Dolly Parton and Deana Carter still is impressive as ever. How did Deana Carter get her start? Because from what I read Deana's father was a big songwriter in the 60's

Right here is my favorite Deana song and I believe that it was the first radio release from her second album.
