Especially when Terri took over as the blonde woman in the apartment and she was decidedly more "collected" than Chrissy or Cindy. Like, did the writers start having Jack say things that Chrissy would likely say? In effect, did it feel like Jack was saying that stuff because someone has to? Before then, Jack and Janet would just gape at Chrissy over something that Chrissy said that was "dumb".
