I prefer Pancakes with eggs for breakfast rather than Waffles. Pancakes are more hearty and fulfilling and as they say it will more "stick to your ribs". Waffles are also good, but prefer them for after lunch or dinner dessert with honey or syrup topped with some type of fruit. Or for midnight snack :D

I love pancakes and always have. Some of my best childhood memories are my father making me pancakes on weekends. :)

I love French toast also. Maybe a millimeter behind pancakes. The absolute best, which you may never have had, is challah French toast. In fact, we're having it later this morning. :D

In the grocery store, beside the size (Belgium is thicker) one will probably have a hard time differentiating between regular and Belgium waffles since recipes for both types of waffles have criss-crossed.

I've never had this bread, but I have heard if it. I bet the French toast is delicious made with it. :)

I chose Pancakes but my heart is for French Toast. I like making extra egg mixture so the leftover can be used for scambled eggs

I vote pancakes. Waffles are more of a special treat whereas pancakes I could eat several times a week and not get tired of them.

It used to be Eggo blueberry waffles, but they have taken a downturn. Eggo pancakes are too high in sodium, so now it's store brand pancakes.

That makes sense. I'm sure they don't call them French fries either. Just like we don't call any dishes 'American'. I never heard of a 'New York cut steak' until I traveled out of New York.
