Hi guys: Remember that picture of Freddie that was posted of him sleeping, does anyone know who posted it, where that picture came from, etc. It's certainly an unusual picture! I couldn't find it in any of the past postings. Was it removed?

I took those pictures. They're part of the Chico and the man fan club at yahoo. If you want to see more than 40 episodes posted, you got to be part of the fan club. Hope you like them.

So that's where I got that pic from! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I've gotten some from some different places online & it's hard to remember where I got some of them from. Hope you didn't mind me borrowing the pics to use on my site & for stuff like that & doctoring them. But they are such good pictures & I want to give you the credit for them! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif So to whoever had them first! Thanks for putting them online & all your hard work in doing them! I've enjoyed having fun with them! & folks you'll want to join the CHICO & THE MAN & FREDDIE PRINZE clubs on YAHOO. Dear Cherryl:
I think the work you have done with it is wonderfull. I don't mind at all that you use the pictures. On the contrary, the more you can share with us: here, there or everywhere makes the difference. Its amazing how you can post stuff in here. This is all I say to my dear fan club friends: share it and spread the joy. It amazes me how such a talented person like Fred is not known by the people from Puerto Rico. The only thing I knew about him was when he died my father told me he was a great comedian in the United States and that He was puertorican. Untill I see the fandemonium marathon is when I realize how great was he and how proud makes me everytime He speaked in with that beutiful puertorican accent: He's my people and he reminds me of home. I thank you so much for sharing him. I talking too much, sorry and bye : )

Guess what I bid on in an online auction & won? An origional t-shirt transfer of Freddie from the 70's! & Never been used & got it for $5! I plan to put it on a t-shirt. I don't want it on one of those plain man style t-shirts but wanted it on one of those feminine type t-shirts with the rounded neck. I bought the perfect shirt for it to put it on. The sleeve & bottom of the shirt are kinda ruffled looking. There is a t-shirt place in Nags Head where you can get designs put on a t-shirt & they have where you can bring your own t-shirt & they'll put a design on your choice on it for a few $$$. I'll see how much they'll charge to put this transfer on it. I've gotten a cool Beatles shirt & some shirts with lighthouses on it that way! I hope putting it on a shirt doesn't devaluate it but shoot I wanna wear & enjoy it. Pretty cool! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

There's some paste like stuff you can get at mostly any craft store - I think it's called "Picture This" which lets you take a color photocopy of a picture, magazine picture, etc. and transfer it on to a shirt or canvas bags. I have used it before and it does work very well. I know they have the type where you can make t-shirts from your computer also, but for those of you who don't have a scanner, etc. or aren't computer literate, there is another way. If I remember right, you take the photocopy, put it face down on the fabric, then put the paste over it, then the next day with a damp sponge, you brush over the paper image to wipe it off and you will see the transfer on your shirt. It's pretty good stuff. Have only used it once, but it would be great to do Freddie's face like that!! Thought you guys would be interested. Any anyone can do this - you don't need to be a Martha Stewart, you just have to follow the directions carefully!

I bought one of those kits where you can print out any imnage from your puter & make a T-shirt of it. It's the speacil heat transfer paper & you print your pic on it & then iron on the shirt. I want to make me a t-shirt of Freddie & one of him & Ed Brown with a CATM logo on it I was wondering what size do I need to make the pic at so it's the right size to go on the shirt? & WHen resizing it how do I keep it from being blurred looking? Does anyone know?

Also I'd love to know more about the kit you're talking about that doesn't require a puter. Sounds neato!

Hi Cheryl:

I believe that to prevent the blurring, it depends on what size the original picture is. I have enlarged on my computer and it seems that if you want to englarge a small picture, the larger you make it, the more blurry the end result will be. I think the best case is when the picture is medium sized or large, then you won't have to enlarge it that much. I haven't used the computer transfer stuff yet, but I'd like to. I think the clarity will also depend on whether the image is a jpg, bmp or gif. I will try and find out and let you know. Hope this helps.

Hey Cheryl - The name of the transfer paste I was telling you about is called "Picture This Transfer Medium". You can order it online at Michael's crafts. Sometimes the local stores don't stock everything, but you could try if you have one near you. The biggest bottle is about 4-5 dollars. The only thing with this is that if you are going to add text, that is a different story. (Because it would be backwards. I think they have special directions on the bottle for that case, it's been a while. With all these options, we can start a whole CATM wardrobe here!
