Acting was a side line for Paul who was a choreographer and dancer. He is one who created the Hooterville Hop, which was seen in the first episode he appeared in as well as various others. Paul also choreographed the jamboree dance scenes in the episode Is There a Doctor in the Roundhouse?. He also made a number of appearances on The Beverly Hillbillies and choreographed a dance scene for that show as well. He also choreographed the film 1941 and Karate Kid II among other projects. Paul and Linda Henning went to school together, he was two years ahead of her, and they were high school sweethearts. They were also dance partners in various dance productions. In 1964 the couple got engaged, but called it off a year later.

Join us in remembering Paul DeRolf who passed away five years ago on June 22 from Alzheimer's disease. Paul De Rolf appeared in 9 episodes beginning with My Daughter The Doctor in season one as Paul Henderson (a role he would reprise several times in episodes Betty Jo's First Love, The Lady Bugs and Kate The Stockholder. He would later appear as Jeff in Dog Turns Playboy, Hooterville A Go Go, then as Larry in Betty Jo Catches The Bouquet. He was Bruce in The County Fair and then an unnamed date of Bobbie Jo's in The Young Matchmakers.
