Hello EVERYONE!

Can anyone tell me whatever happen to the rest of the chico and the man cast?? like Jack albertson who played ED, Julie Hill who played Monica, Della reees, Gabriel Melgar in the last season of Chico and the Man. I have visited several of the Chico and the Man sites, and also this message board and none of them are not even listed or talked about. I know all about Prinze suicide but i would like to know what happend to the rest of the cast?? All i see here are the post all about freddie prinze but come on he was not the only one on the show. If i am wrong and he was the only one on this show please let me know? Maybe i miss something.. Anyways i just would like some info on the rest of the cast. Thanks for your time.

Hi! There is not a whole lot of things out there about the rest of the cast. I do have a couple of links for Jack Albertson, Isaac Ruiz, and Della Reese at my site. I have tried in vain to find any information about Gabriel, but have found absolutely nothing. Great site. How bout you add more sound clips like of certain characters catch pharses like Loooking Goood, Get outta my garage, Louies garbage anthems, a little dog with his head moving back and forth and es not my job.

Isaac Ruiz (Mando) lives in Tucson, AZ and has a top corporate position with a large organization. He obviously retired from show biz, but he did continue to do smaller parts after he left "Chico". Jack Albertson did the "Poisedon Adventure" movie which was after Chico and the Man and died of cancer shortly after that. I think about 1981 or 1982. Della Reese is still alive as we all know doing "Touched By An Angel", and Scatman Crothers died, I don't know the year or the cause though.

Scatman Crothers died on November 22, 1986 in Van Nuys, California, USA of lung cancer. His last role was the voice for "Jazz" in the Transformers Movie. I never knew he was the voice of Jazz Transformers was one of my favorite cartoons growing up.

Actually, the Poseiden Adventure came out in 1973 or '74, before the Chico series. That's why the Jack dates Shelly episode was a reunion of sorts. Incidentally, Scatman is buried in the same cemetery as Freddie.

Yea, I'd read he was bured in the same cemetary as Freddie. It'd be interesting to view both their sites...
