By saving Sesame Street, Netflix orchestrated the feel-good corporate PR coup of the year — while subtly rebuking Trump and making HBO look bad. (https://www.fastcompany.com/91337207/netflix-sesame-street-deal-is-a-pr-coup-for-the-ages)

Netflix saved 'Sesame Street' from an uncertain fate in a way that creates goodwill for the company—and bad publicity for one of its rivals.

To me the way I see it the reason why Sesame Street moved to Netflix and got a new image was because of money and with the new children of this current generation now being introduced to Sesame Street they hope to attract the new generation of preschoolers. But in my eyes when Carroll Spinney Jerry Nelson Bob McGrath Emilio Delgado passed away and Sonia Manzano who played Maria left Sesame Street started going downhill and when those events happened Sesame Street should've ended. But how are Big Bird and Oscar The Grouch and The Count still around with new puppeteers? Because I saw a clip of Sesame Street and Big Bird now sounds like Regis Philbin and it shocked me that Big Bird sounds different. And why I think Sesame Street moved to Netflix is because I think the cast was very unhappy with the direction HBO was giving Sesame Street and I think now that it's on Netflix Sesame Street will go in an entirely different direction

How different is Sesame Street on Netflix? (https://parade.com/tv/5-biggest-changes-sesame-street-on-netflix)

Sesame Street on Netflix features a new format (https://www.google.com/search?q=How+different+is+Sesame+Street+on+Netflix%3F&oq=How+different+is+Sesame+Street+on+Netflix%3F&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigAdIBCTkyMjdqMGoxNagCCbACAfEFbBcbYzPQIRs&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8) with an 11-minute main story in each episode, more music, and new animated segments. Characters will break the fourth wall to talk directly to the viewer, and the focus this season is on emotional well-being and compassion. While it is a reimagined season with changes, fan-favorite segments like "Elmo's World" and "Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck" also return.
