A couple days ago I bought the Rescue From Gilligan's Island DVD for 7 bucks. I saw it at Sam Goody's and just had to buy it. But I noticed that some scenes seemed to have been cut out in the DVD. I have the last half of the movie on video tape, which my parents had recorded off the TV. One scene that was missing on the DVD was the Christmas party on the Minnow II at the end. You know, when the Professor is talking about the seven deadly sins.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. It seemed really odd to me that the DVD doesn't have all the scenes whereas the television version does?? :confused:

**quizzical look** He talks about the seven deadly sins? Looks like I haveta go watch that movie again...it's been awhile. LOL.

But, in response to your post, I had heard that there were some scenes missing, although I've never seen the DVD version. It looks like it was just a bad transfer or something. I don't think they'd intentionally edit out scenes for the DVD. If anything, the DVD should have *extra* scene not shown on TV for time restrictions and whatnot. (**giggles** I said 'whatnot.')

Yeah...I think he talks about the seven deadly sins...I'm pretty sure he does... Sometimes I do forget...just ask my parents...if you want me to forget something, I will forget it. (*Makes me feel even more like Gilligan!*) :D

I will have to get it haven't seen it and years. Not sure what you talking about though.
